BlueGastro is a restaurant system, designed for all kinds of gastronomic operations. It represents the most sophisticated IS in the branch of tourism, especially in Slovak gastronomy. By its flexibility, multitude of practical functions, friendly user environment and used technologies it can completely cover all processes that take place in gastronomic operations.
The basic functions of the programme include: store management, preparation and recipes, cash registers and marketing, public catering, loyalty system, statistics, overviews and control functions. It has possibilities of connection of additional external devices used in gastronomic practice (customer displays, credit card readers, bar code readers, readers of chips, cards, biometric data, bill printers, electronic weighs, touch screen displays, connection to electronic systems, etc.)
The system is divided to two functional modules:
GastroManager, that enables management of code lists, store movements, overviews and control.
GastroCash represents an electronic cash register of the system that can be designed in three ways: classic cash register, touch screen cash register and PDA cash register (portable order cash register).
The system is built on three-level architecture, where ORACLE database represents the base of stable and quality access to data. It uses modern security technologies and due to its structure client-server-database enables access to the system via the internet from anywhere in the world.
